My skin type: Mostly normal to dry (eczema flare-ups); prone to acne.
$63 CAD for 50ml (currently $50 for ROUGE members at Sephora — today is the last day!)
This is a thick but soft and buttery cream that includes ceramide, sodium hyaluronate and hyaluronic acid to moisturize and maintain your moisture barrier.
It is free of alcohol, parabens, and sulfates — but it is not silicone-free.
The scent is sort of earthy, but light and doesn’t linger. This is probably thanks to a dash of ingredients like sage oil.

Although I’ve heard so much positivity about this cream, I was a little hesitant to try it out. I guess I just didn’t think it would live up to the hype.
So when I tested this cream out, I was having a major issue around my lips, particularly at the top around the edges. It had just gotten to the point where it was so dry, that it was sore and stiff. It was really distracting and painful throughout the day.
I have a few moisturizers I love, but for whatever reason, this particular issue in and around my lip area was not going anywhere. My lips have been the worst problem area for me as of late.
Right upon application of the Ceramidin cream, I could feel that it was soothing, gentle, and very moisturizing. The cream is substantial and thick, but very buttery so it melts right into your skin and absorbs fairly quickly.
Over the course of a few days, that dryness and soreness around my lips was gone and using the Ceramidin cream (along with its toner counterpart) has kept it moisturized.
Throughout the day, my skin feels hydrated and dryness isn’t a problem at all. The cream sits well under makeup, too!
I will continue to use this cream night and day because it does what it says and is absolutely a game changer. I managed to get it on sale, and now with the Sephora Summer Sale on, I will probably be stocking up.
