Eminence Organics is a Hungarian skincare brand used in spas all over the world. They are cruelty-free and use all natural ingredients.
Cleanser type: Cream | $46 CAD (250 ml) at TheFacialRoom.ca
My skin type: Normal with dry spots (eczema); prone to acne.
Paraben, sulfate, silicone and alcohol-free. Cruelty-free and all-natural ingredients.
Includes coconut milk, coconut oil and calendula oil to soothe and nourish.
Smells like coconut, but no synthetic fragrances are added.
This is a thick, creamy cleanser that is divinely scented like coconut. The scent is a bit strong, so if you are sensitive to smells, keep that in mind. I personally love the smell!
It’s gentle and deep cleaning. As someone with dry skin, I do wish it was more moisturizing.
I like to use this cleanser in a few ways:
- On my bare skin in the morning: My face doesn’t feel too dry afterward, nor does it feel very soft. Just an okay medium. I prefer to apply it to my skin dry, massage, and then rinse.
- As a first step in a double cleanse: Apply to dry skin, massage, rinse, and follow with a foam cleanser or whatever you prefer.
It removes light makeup fairly well, and even does an okay job against heavier makeup. However, if you’re using it to remove heavy makeup, you definitely need to follow up with a second cleansing step (i.e. a foam cleanser).
If you’re looking for a delicious, creamy cleanser that isn’t drying, this isn’t a bad choice. It is rather pricey, and if you’re on the drier side like me, you might want to consider a more moisturizing option such as the Eminence Stone Crop Oil Cleanser (review to come…I’m obsessed with this right now).
I personally am using my Coconut Milk Cleanser bottle sparingly because I do love the product, but I don’t think it would make sense for me to repurchase this over oil cleansers as they are far more moisturizing.
