Hi all! So, I did a big Caudalie haul recently and will be reviewing each product individually after I’ve tried and tested them. So far, I’ve tried a few and it’s all been positive.

Caudalie is an excellent, clean brand that is cruelty-free and vegan. 1% of their sales also go towards tree-planting.

My skin type: Normal with dry patches (eye, lip, and forehead area); prone to acne. I guess you’d call it combo skin?

Caudalie Brightening Essence

This is a glycolic acid essence that I got because I want to try incorporating GA into my routine. Glycolic acid is an exfoliator which removes dead skin cells, leaving your skin bright without you having to scrub at your face manually.

I’ve used this for about a week so far and it feels great on the skin, sinks right in, and gives a healthy glow.

Caudalie Glycolic Peel

A glycolic peel mask that promises bright skin in just a few minutes. I’ve tried this a few times so far and it’s very softening and brightening! I’ve had no negative reactions, but I will keep trying it and we’ll see how it goes.

Caudalie Gentle Buffing Cream

This really is a gentle exfoliator and you can mix it with your cleanser for a softer application.

Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser

This is a very gentle foam cleanser that makes a great second step in a double cleanse. First I normally go in with an oil cleanser and then rinse off with one pump of this. If I’m wearing a lot of makeup, I use two pumps. It doesn’t dry out my skin and does a decent job of thoroughly cleaning.

The Instant Foaming Cleanser is gentle enough to prevent dryness but effective enough to remove dirt and makeup residue

Gentle Cleansing Milk

A gentle cleansing milk is a good first step in a double cleanse if you have normal, oily or dry skin. It’s very simple and thus would compliment many routines.

Mix this with the Caudalie Gentle Buffing Cream for a gentle exfoliation

I don’t find that it’s particularly hydrating but it doesn’t really strip away moisture either. The consistency is almost like a lotion. It does a good job cleansing your skin, including some makeup. If you’re wearing heavy makeup, I’d use a heavier oil cleanser or makeup remover FIRST.

I’ll be posting full reviews of these guys over the next little while!

Any recommendations from Caudalie? Let me know what I should try!

Thanks for reading ❤
